Riehls Amish Quilts
Buy directly from the Amish! Riehls is an Amish family-owned working dairy farm and store in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country managed by Sam and Susie Riehl. All quilts and crafts are handcrafted locally or domestically by the Amish. Many "English" sell Amish quilts. All Riehls Amish Quilts and Crafts are made by and sold by the Amish.
Heritage Center & Quilt Museum
Located in downtown Lancaster, the Heritage Museum is rich with Amish cultural information as well as a printing press room and an early American quilt display. For all of you quilters, the Quilt Museum features Lancaster County Amish quilts and an interesting exhibit called Rainbow Yarn, Navajo Indian Weavings. While downtown, stop by the Visitor's Center, now located in the Heritage Center, and take in the historic Lancaster walking tour. Tours are daily April through October at 1PM and in addition on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10AM.
